Is the redacted text really deleted?
Yes. The pages with marks are rebuilt without the removed content, so it cannot be selected, copied or searched. A simple black rectangle would leave the text underneath.
What happens to the pages I don't redact?
They are copied unchanged, with their selectable text. Only the pages where you marked something are rebuilt.
Are my files stored?
No. This tool processes the file on your device, inside the browser: it is not uploaded to any server and nothing is stored.
Is it free?
