PNG is the usual format of screenshots, diagrams and images exported from design apps. Turn one or many of them into a PDF that is easy to share, print or attach to a form.

How to convert PNG to PDF

  1. Select your PNG files (you can mix them with JPG).

  2. Order them and choose page size, orientation and margin.

  3. Create the PDF and download it.

When it helps

  • You need to send screenshots as a single document.

  • You exported slides or diagrams as PNG and want to print them together.

  • A form only accepts PDF and your file is a PNG.

Why use catScan

  • Private by design

This tool works inside your browser: the file is processed on your device and is never uploaded or stored.

  • Free to start

Sign in with Google and get 8 free uses per period, shared with the catScan app. 1 use = 1 downloaded file; if something fails, it doesn't count.

  • Nothing to install

It works in any modern browser on computer, tablet or phone. To scan paper with your camera, use the Android app.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to transparent areas?

They become white, like the page they are placed on, so the PDF looks the same in every viewer and printer.

Do screenshots stay readable?

Yes. Images are kept at up to 3000 pixels on the long side and saved at high quality, enough for text on screenshots to stay sharp.

Can I convert several PNG files into one PDF?

Yes. Select them all: each PNG becomes one page, in the order you set by dragging them.

Are my files stored?

No. This tool processes the file on your device, inside the browser: it is not uploaded to any server and nothing is stored.
